How DryMark Restoration Las Vegas Was Born in Las Vegas
We opened this branch in 2011, the same year the parent brand started, because Las Vegas needed something we couldn’t find here. Before that, we were working mitigation jobs across the valley, and we kept running into the same problem. A homeowner in Spring Valley had water through three rooms after a supply line failed. Three other companies had been out. One quoted a number over the phone that doubled once the crew arrived. Another started tearing out drywall before they’d even set a moisture meter. The third just left industrial fans running for five days and handed her a bill with no readings, no photos, no proof of what had actually dried.
She paid it because her insurance adjuster needed something on paper. But the adjuster denied half the claim. Bad documentation, not bad work. That was the moment. We called the parent brand that same week and asked what it would take to bring the DryMark standard to Las Vegas. The answer was the Haven Standard, which meant every job left a paper trail: daily moisture readings, room by room, signed and dated. We opened our doors with one promise - we’d never hand a homeowner or their adjuster a bill without the evidence to back it up.
Alicia Brennan’s Personal Connection to the Damage Restoration Trade
I got into this work sideways. I was managing rental properties in North Las Vegas in the late 2000s, and a tenant called at 6 AM because a water heater had let go in a second-floor unit. The water was coming through the ceiling fan in the kitchen below. I stood in that living room while a restoration crew tracked water through the carpet, set up equipment they’d already used that day on another job, and told me I’d need to “wait and see” what the final bill looked like. The smell of wet drywall and the sound of that fan dripping into a bucket - I can still call both up exactly.
Something about it bothered me past the money. It was the not-knowing. No one could tell me what dry actually meant. The carpet felt dry to the touch, but what about the pad? The wall was opened up, but was the stud moisture content below 16%? No one had a number. They had opinions and equipment and a vague sense that we’d done enough.
I started reading drying standards. I bought a moisture meter and learned to use it. I shadowed a tradesman who trained us on thermal imaging and psychrometry - the math of how air holds water. That first winter, I spent nights in unheated houses in Centennial Hills, running calculations on a notepad, figuring out how many air changes per hour we’d need to hit our target. The work smelled like wet lumber and ozone from the generators. My hands cracked from the dry air the equipment pushed. I loved it.
What gets me out of bed now is the same thing: a homeowner who doesn’t know if their house is actually okay, and us being able to show them the number that proves it. If I weren’t doing this, I’d probably be teaching. I used to tutor math in college, and this isn’t so different - taking something that feels overwhelming and breaking it into steps someone can follow and trust.
Meet Alicia Brennan - The Person Behind Every Job

I’m Alicia Brennan, Owner and Founder of DryMark Restoration Las Vegas. I’ve been in the restoration trade for over 15 years, since before this branch opened, and I’ve personally handled drying jobs from Aliante to Paradise. My training started with hands-on property management emergency response, then moved through IICRC-certified water damage restoration and applied structural drying courses. I know the equipment we use by model number - Dri-Eaz dehumidifiers, Phoenix air scrubbers - because I’ve maintained them, loaded them, and cursed at them when they faulted at midnight.
What separates me from a corporate technician is simple: I’m the one who answers when something goes wrong. I live in this city. I hike Red Rock on Saturday mornings. I know which Summerlin subdivisions built before 2005 have the polybutylene pipes that fail in clusters. When I promise you a written scope before we start, it’s my name on it, not a dispatcher’s.
My commitment to you is direct: I will never ask you to trust a process I can’t document. Every reading, every photo, every moisture map - you’ll have it in your hands before we pack up.
Before
AfterOur Promise to Las Vegas Homeowners
Our values come from the H.A.V.E.N. code, and we apply them like this:
Have it in writing. Every job starts with a flat price and a written scope. We learned this the hard way early on - a homeowner in Winchester whose scope kept expanding as the crew “found” more damage. Now we document everything visible before a single tool comes out. Clause 1 of the Haven Standard.
Arrive on schedule. We give you a real window, a named technician, and a text when they’re on the way. Not because it’s fancy, but because we’ve been the ones waiting for a no-show crew and we won’t do that to you.
Verified crews. Every pro working under our name is required to hold the license and insurance their state requires. We check it, and we keep the license number on file.
Evidence on every job. Photos and readings of what we actually found. Not what we think happened, not what it probably looks like inside the wall - what the meter says, what the thermal camera shows, what the hygrometer reads.
No surprises. No door upsell, no scope creep, no “while we’re in here.” The price we write is the price you pay.
Our Credentials

- State-licensed - required for all structural drying and reconstruction work in Nevada
- Insured & bonded - general liability and workers compensation coverage in place
- Years of local experience - serving Las Vegas and surrounding communities since 2011
- Strong local reputation - built through documented work and adjuster relationships across the valley
Here’s why each one matters when you’re letting someone into your home after a loss. State licensing means we’ve met Nevada’s requirements for training and financial responsibility - not everyone advertising restoration services has this. Insurance and bonding protects you if something goes wrong on your property; without it, a worker’s injury or accidental damage could become your homeowner’s policy problem. Local experience means we know how Las Vegas desert climate affects drying times - the low humidity here is an advantage, but only if you know how to use it rather than fight it. Reputation in this trade is everything, because most homeowners call us once in their lives and have to decide fast. We build ours on the documentation we leave behind.
Rooted in Las Vegas
We’re not a truck that drives in from out of state when the valley floods. Our equipment lives here. Our technicians know that homes in Enterprise built during the 2000s boom often have the same stucco details that trap moisture. We’ve dried kitchens in Summerlin South where the irrigation line failed, and basements in Sunrise Manor where monsoon runoff found its way through foundation cracks. We’ve worked with adjusters who cover Paradise and Nellis AFB, and we know the documentation each carrier prefers. When you call DryMark Restoration Las Vegas, you’re calling a local team that works to a national standard - not the other way around.
